These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our website and booking our retreats, workshops, or other offerings, you agree to comply with these terms.

Participant Agreement and Release of Liability

1. Participation and Event Scope

I willingly opt to engage in the yoga teacher training, drop-in class workshop, course, yoga retreat, or any akin yoga-related event (hereby referred to as the "Event") hosted by Zen Zorba Private Ltd. (hereafter known as "Zen Zorba"). This encompasses all activities offered, including Meditation, Chanting, Philosophy, Hands-on Adjustment, Pranayama, Asana, and any other yoga-related practices (collectively known as "Yoga Classes").

2. Acknowledgment of Risks

I understand that participating in the Event and Yoga Classes entails both physical and mental exertion. Despite the diligent efforts of Zen Zorba and its staff, I acknowledge the inherent risks involved, such as accidents, injuries, illnesses, and unforeseen events. I accept all associated risks, including those stemming from physical exertion, environmental conditions (e.g., weather, local flora/fauna), and the consumption of local cuisine.

3. Medical Responsibility

I recognize my responsibility to consult with a physician before engaging in the Event and Yoga Classes. I am aware that Zen Zorba does not provide medical services or have medical staff on-site. Should I require medical attention, I will seek it independently, and Zen Zorba bears no liability for any external medical services.

4. Fitness to Participate

I confirm that I am physically fit and devoid of any medical conditions that would impede my full participation in the Event and Yoga Classes. In the event of any pre-existing injuries or conditions, I take full responsibility for managing them during the Event. I do not anticipate Zen Zorba or its instructors to provide medical guidance or treatment.

5. Emergency and Medical Costs

In the case of an injury or medical emergency, I am responsible for any necessary medical treatment and its associated costs. While Zen Zorba may assist in coordinating medical services, the arrangement and payment of such services rest solely on me.

6. Pregnancy and Health Conditions

Should I be pregnant or have any medical concerns (e.g., heart issues, respiratory conditions, high blood pressure), I understand that certain Yoga Classes may not be suitable for me. I will inform Zen Zorba of such conditions, and they reserve the right to restrict my participation if deemed necessary. Regardless of disclosure, if I choose to participate under such circumstances, I do so at my own risk.

7. Physical Adjustments

I consent to receiving physical adjustments from instructors during Yoga Classes. If I prefer not to receive adjustments, I will communicate my preference to the instructor at each session. It is my responsibility to indicate when I am comfortable with adjustments.

8. Personal Property

I accept full responsibility for the security of my personal belongings during the Event and Yoga Classes.

9. Payment and Refund Policy

I understand that the 400 Euros deposit required to secure my place is non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable unless expressly approved in writing by Zen Zorba's management. This deposit can be applied to another course if I provide one month's notice to Zen Zorba. The remaining course fee is payable upon arrival and may be settled via card or cash. Should I be unable to attend the course, I am not liable for the remaining fee.

Once I participate in the Event, I am responsible for the full fee, including any accommodation and agreed-upon package. These fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable unless otherwise specified by Zen Zorba. I am also responsible for any transaction fees associated with my payments.

10. Course Adjustments

I acknowledge that Zen Zorba may make changes to the course content, schedule, instructors, or other aspects of the Event without prior notice.

11. Data Sharing and Media Consent

I provide consent for my contact details (name, email, phone number) to be shared with partners such as Yoga Alliance Professional for registration purposes. I reserve the right to opt out of this process.

I understand that Zen Zorba may capture photographs or videos of the Event, including images featuring me. I grant permission for these materials to be used lawfully, including for publicity, advertising, and web content. I may also capture my own media for personal social media use, provided all participants and instructors grant consent.

12. Childcare Responsibility

The responsibility for the care of my child(ren) during the Event lies solely with me. While Zen Zorba may assist in arranging babysitting services, the ultimate responsibility remains with me.

13. Refund Policy for Full Course Fee

Should I have paid the full course fee, I may request a refund (minus the 400 Euros deposit and transaction charges) if done three months prior to the course start date. Refunds and cancellations are not permissible beyond this timeframe.

14. Release of Liability

Having reviewed this agreement and comprehended its terms, I agree to indemnify, release from liability, and refrain from suing Zen Zorba, its trainers, officers, agents, employees, organizers, representatives, and successors for any claims, demands, actions, or damages arising from my participation in the Event and Yoga Classes or from being on the premises.

15. Confirmation of Agreement

By participating in the Event, I affirm my acknowledgment and acceptance of all terms and conditions outlined in this waiver.
